This 14 inch Whip-o-Lite from 1936 is No. 212-white. It was available in four colors: No. 209-amber, No. 210-green, No. 211-rose, and the No. 212-white that is shown here. All were compatible with Aladdin hanging, table, and bracket lamps.
Like most of the Aladdin Whip-o-Lite shades it takes on a completely different look when actually lit. As you can see the "white" that gives the lamp it's design designation No. 212-white actually become black when it is lit.
